Rheoptima™ X24

Rheoptima X24 is a vegetable derived polymer used to create thermo-reversible gels of organics with low polarity. It is supplied in pastille form and is made by the reaction of functional amines and diacids terminated with stearyl alcohol. It gels liquid by forming a three-dimensional structure via hydrogen bonding between the amide groups.
