Bringing Sales Closer to Manufacturing to Strengthen Customer Supply

Sales teams from Croda Industrial Specialties across the EMEA region recently met in Lille, France, with a strong focus on strengthening alignment between commercial teams and manufacturing to support reliable, high‑quality supply for customers.

A key part of the meeting was an in‑depth visit to the Chocques manufacturing site. By spending time close to production, sales teams gained first‑hand insight into manufacturing processes, technical capabilities and operational planning that directly underpin customer supply.

The site visit allowed sales colleagues to better understand how products are manufactured, scheduled and delivered, enabling more accurate and confident discussions with customers around availability, lead times and service reliability. Close interaction with site teams also supports faster escalation and resolution of supply‑related challenges, helping ensure continuity for customers.

Being on site reinforced the importance of strong collaboration between Industrial Specialties sales and manufacturing teams.
